With regard to Sorin Ducaru posing questions about possibilities in the Winter 2016 Journal of International Affairs from Columbia SIPA, the Aronetics answer is a yes. Cyber defense is possible. We can all win with a different perception of security from either offensive or defensive views.
The entire Journal of International Affairs from Winter 2016, Volume 70 Number 1 is devoted to cyber issues. A few articles focus on issues unlike others that are more political or policy in nature.
Specifically, Attribution of Malicious Cyber Incidents by Herbert Lin, Toward Practical Cyber Counter Deception from Christopher Porter, The Consequences of Cyber Attacks via an interview with Hendrik Ilves, A Non-State Strategy for Saving Cyberspace by Jason Healy, Honing Cyber Attribution: A Framework for Assessing Foreign State Complicity, and Is Cyber Defense Possible? via an interview with Sorin Ducaru.
It is worth to note that cyber is a hot issue at the time of this journals publication and as noted, is no passing fad. Cyber incidents have become worse: common, disruptive and pervasive.

Please connect with us if you would like a conversation about your network, our product and how we could help you. We realize that when things are free, your identity is being sold for much more than free. This beta program is a trial that is free of charge for 30 days to learn and is covered under a beta trial version legal agreement.
