When you lose, don’t lose the lesson –
What if Sudhakar Ramakrishna knew the moment of the intrusion? What if he had foresight before taking the job? Would SolarWinds even be more known as it once were?
Seeing SolarWinds at the AUSA conference in Washington DC, it was evident and apparent that SolarWinds was another perfect target.
“When you lose, don’t lose the lesson” is a valuable piece of advice that emphasizes the importance of learning from our failures and mistakes rather than dwelling on them. It encourages us to view our losses as opportunities for growth and self-improvement, rather than sources of discouragement or frustration. In our estimation, Sudhakar Ramakrishna was the proper man to have in place for the Solarwinds hack.
Knowing how to control an event in an emergency is a skill that should be recognized, and is not teachable. Solarwinds was very lucky the moment they knew they had a breach.
